What Israeli Secularists Really Stand For

Some empty-headed pretty boy who supposedly represents secularist values did well in the Israeli elections, and non-religious Israeli Jews are agog. Is it because they hope that the thousands of laws of religious coercion will be repealed? Is it because they hope Israel will begin treating its non-Jewish citizens like citizens? Is it because they hope they could finally ride a train or a bus on Saturday (“The Sabbath”), or import real meat instead of the gooey kosher shit that passes for a hamburger over there?

No, don’t be ridiculous. The secularist citizens of the most racist and religiously-fanatic nation outside of the Arab world want only one thing: that conscription be extended to the ultra-orthodox Jews, who are currently exempt from it. In other words, instead of vying for more freedom for themselves, secularist Jews want to extend slavery—and the perpetual war it encourages and feeds—to everyone.

I said it before, and I’ll reiterate: such people don’t deserve freedom. Let them live in slavery and die in war. It’s the only meaning their lives have, and the only thing they appreciate.

    • I really have no idea what you’re talking about. Have you read the post? What does your comment have to do with my post? What is it that you think I wrote? I’m not being facetious or sarcastic; I’m really lost.
